“Your attitude is your window to the world. Attitudes are a secret power working 24 hours a day, for good or bad” – Jeff Keller.
Some would say, attitude is a trait a person is born with or a function of their genetic makeup. Frankly, attitude is a little thing that makes a huge difference in one’s life. They could be either positive or negative. However, it ultimately depends on how one views the situation.
There are a number of different factors influencing attitude formation:
Similarly, every attitude is, in effect a “prejudice” in how we interpret our life experiences. According to me, I have the attitude of idealism. I generally look at things in a positive manner. So, every day I want to make my life in the direction of progression, which makes perfect sense to me.
You may find people with attitude of skepticism and pessimism – who always pay attention to the bad in people, situations, events etc. These people only see limitations. Whereas, positive thinkers focus more on what can go right rather than what can go wrong. From my experiences, I would say when a person is optimistic people want to be around with him. This is mainly because they are able to attract positive people and more positive events in every stream of their life. If you’re positive and enthusiastic, people will want to spend time with you.
Attitude Defines & Decides Altitudes
From researches, it is identified that there are a few more components that make up altitudes. Often referred to as CAB or ABC of attitude. They include:-
Attitude decides the size of our dreams when we are faced with new challenges. Equally, I would like to state that no other person on earth has dominion over our attitude. But, don’t lose hope! Attitude can be changed if we are able to differentiate negative from the positive ones.
Simple steps need to be taken for this initiative, like –
Finally, summing up – I would say, attitudes are formed primarily based on underlying beliefs and values. Our attitude is a treasure of great value which must be protected accordingly. We should beware of the looters among us who would injure our positive attitude as ‘Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character’ (as readily said by Einstein).
But, some people are not willing to sacrifice for the change. This is because change requires a lot of hard work and won’t accept anything else…
Let us change for good and let us project a winning attitude. The moment we decide to change our attitude is the moment we change our life. Attitude, please remind yourself that, is the key to unlock the untapped potential in you… it can work miracles in your life. Now let me reveal the ultimate secret, “Attitude is everything” to getting absolutely everything!
“Better keep yourself clean and bright; you are the window through which you must see the world.” – George Bernard Shaw.
