TRANSACTIONAL ANALYSIS

Transactional Analysis (TA) – iNourish

A modern psychotherapy tool for a positive change

We have all experienced communication breakdowns in our life. You know the feeling… One minute you are having a normal conversation with someone and the next second you are fighting or one of you has shut down. In both cases, there’s a breakdown. Many times, the conversion gets failed to achieve its goal, whether it’s being heard, solving a problem or making a decision. Why does this happen? According to Transactional Analysis – TA, communication breakdowns happens because we are not fully present in our conversions. It states, instead of a reaction to the here and now, people are communicating from different ego states. When these ego states are crossed, conflict happens. Transactional Analysis has a colossal impact on my life. It’s changed the way I think about how I am and the way I relate to others.

Transactional analysis can be used to address one's interactions and communications with the purpose of establishing and reinforcing the idea that each individual is valuable and has the capacity for positive change and personal growth.

Transaction Analysis claims that we can better understand ourselves by understanding our transactions with the people closest to us.

Transaction = conversation or interaction between two people.

Why there’s a need for Transactional Analysis?
